The beautiful pendant features a stunning scene. Crafted by William Ruser this vintage heavy pendant is crafted out of solid 14K gold and features a beautiful pair of cherubs in a three-dimensional sphere adored by three floating stars. This rare vintage piece of jewelry history is crafted in rich 14K gold and is an excellent condition with no repairs or damage.
The stars and angels alike are highly detailed including the eyes, mouths, hair, ears, the texture on the stars, and even details on the hands and feet of the cherubs. This pendant has an approx. 4.6 X 4.2mm bail and has plenty of room for a nice thick chain. This pendant is stamped "Copyright Ruser 14K 29532" and is estimated to have been produced in the late 1930's.
William Ruser was a well known Beverly Hills jeweler who's specialty was baroque and freshwater pearl jewelry. Throughout the 1950'x and the 1960's his distinct jewelry gained fame as Hollywood starlets proudly wore his figural pieces both on and off screen, red carpets, and held them in their personal collections. In 1959, Ruser sold his location on Rodeo Drive to Van Cleef & Arpels. This pendant is definitely a statement piece and conversation starter. Highly attractive style and luxury in same purchase!
